IEEE Undergraduate Research Technology 2017
At the 2017 IEEE Undergraduate Research Technology Conference we displayed our search and rescue robot, which most recently competed in the 2017 Robocup Rescue Competition. We also got a chance to talk with conference attendees about the team’s current and future endeavors.
We participated in the MIT makerfest that took during the Cambridge Science Festival. Loved having excited and curious guests of all ages ask us about our projects and robotics in general. MITxMake
Edgerton Center 25th Anniversary Celebration
This event, with MIT alumni and fellow student teams celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Edgerton Center. We had our current robot for show as we talked about our projects. In addition, a few members helped in a multi-club cleanup effort prior to tidy up our home. Glad to have this support on campus!
Noche de Ciencias
At this event, hosted by SHPE @ MIT (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers), we got to show off our bot and talk with families. This was the first public debut of our rescue robot, having recently passed the first qualification round for RoboCup Rescue.
We held a breakout small session with RoboCon attendees from robotics research labs and companies. Attendees got a lab tour and learned about the robots we are developing this year and the process we use to create new robots.http://robocon.mit.edu/
